Google Fonts in Photoshop - how, now that Fontea is gone?

How do you import Google Fonts into Photoshop? One could of course just install all the fonts from Google Fonts' Github but that sounds a bit heavy. Google searching the subject shows Fontea used to be the most recommended and popular solution, being a Photoshop plugin which, from what I understand, didn't require all the fonts to be installed locally.

But apparently Fontea no longer exists since January of this year. The developer has changed their website and is instead peddling some other paid-subscription product and Fontea is nowhere to be found.

So what is your solution when wanting to test out different Google Fonts in your design?
